Massive Imperfecr Action
Massive Imperfect Action vs John Wooden. Woody made a quote famous, “If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?”
It’s a nice axiom. The issue with axioms is that, while useful at times, they are rarely blankets. The key is in the discernment of when to use which.
Let’s look at the photo above. I don’t like it. BUT, in the context of what I am doing here, it is perfectly imperfect. I did not intentionally make any mistakes with it. It definitely is a rough draft. IF this post was about anything else, I would clean all of that up….including the typo in the title. I looked at that, went to correct it, and said, “NOPE! It is PERFECT for this IMPERFECT example.”
You can burn a lot of time “getting things perfect.” Sometimes, they need to be. Sometimes, good enough is good enough. Sometimes, messed up is just right.
